My dad is 63 years old. When he goes out running, he can go for miles (he runs around a good portion of Irvine). He exercises like a madman, and we often worry that his techniques are going to cause him a heart attack. So far, he's proving us all wrong!
My dad's goal is to run 10 marathons in his lifetime. At this point, he is only two marathons away from reaching that goal. The last time I asked him, he said he would probably keep running marathons until he can't run them anymore.
He has always been a hardworking, and determined man. When he sets his mind to doing something, there is nothing you can say or do to deter him. Hooray for you, Dad! Those young guys you pass up must be kicking themselves for being beaten to the finish line by the "Old Guy".
