In this case, it's been quite amusing. Savannah and Gaby have entered the "Competition Phase". It all started last Saturday, when Aunti Ne and Frances came to visit. Savannah has recently learned how to tumble, and was showing her Lola Zenia (Auntie Ne) her new skill. Gaby was watching and decided that she was going to get some recognition for something too. She walked over near Mommy, dropped her head while Mommy pushed the rest of her body up and over. She laid on the floor clapping, and squeeling, "YEEE-AY!". Of course, all those who saw applauded and cheered. She was so happy to do it a few more times for everyone.
The very next day, while we were eating breakfast, Auntie Ne commented on Savannah singing so quietly and nicely down at her end of the table. Gaby heard this and glanced at her sister. She had this look on her face, as if saying, "Why should Savannah be the only one to be noticed for such things." All of a sudden, her face brightened up, and she opened up her mouth and sang her heart out: "Ow duh see noh....you luh meee!" I tell you, it was a beautiful sight, and a vision I will keep forever. How precious!
