Going Back

It seems like it's been a year since Robert started applying for a position at RICOH. The opportunity was there last year, and he went through several meetings and interviews for the position that would place him solely at the Quicksilver location in Huntington Beach. That one fell through, but there was another ideal client where he would be in charge of servicing their copiers in one building. We prayed and waited, and stretched out the waiting period as long as possible without hurting his position at his current job.

After days and weeks of thinking things over and weighing out options, Robert decided to stay where he was currently working. There were changes up ahead that would make his decision to stay worthwhile. Unfortunately, there was another period of waiting for those changes to happen. In the meantime, he was still driving anywhere from LA to San Clemente, and juggling being a student, husband, and father. The stress was taking it's toll....

Another glimpse of hope to get back in to RICOH came his way a few weeks ago. Once again, he set up meetings to find out more about the position. In no time, a formal interview was done and all he had to wait for was for the paperwork to go through. Today, Robert got the call! He starts next Monday for training!

It is an answered prayer, one that has required Robert's patience to stretch and be tested, and for his trust in God to provide to be tried. It will ease up a lot of stress in regards how his days are scheduled, and make it less expensive in filling up his gas tank. I have yet to hear all the details, so more on the job change later!

Congratulations, LOVE!
